This site shows some of my recent work. My wife and I live in the USA, in the state of Massachusetts, which is where I make most of my photographs.
My most recent show, entitled Silent Balance, was at the New England School of Photography in Boston, April 27 - May 29 2009. I have also had the privilege of teaching there on an informal basis.

A student once asked Master Ichu, "Please write something of great wisdom."
Master Ichu picked up his brush and wrote one word: "Attention"
The student said "That's all - Attention ?"
The master took the brush again, and wrote "Attention Attention"
The student said "Surely there must be something more you can tell me."
Master Ichu picked up the brush again. This time he wrote "Attention Attention Attention"
The student asked "What is Attention ?"
Master Ichu replied "Attention is Attention."
Master Ichu picked up his brush and wrote one word: "Attention"
The student said "That's all - Attention ?"
The master took the brush again, and wrote "Attention Attention"
